Double Chocolate M&M Brownies

In the spur of a moment decided to bake something last week and tried to figure out what I could make with ingredients I already had in the house and the answer came quickly … brownies!

Here are the ingredients:

  • 140 gr Butter
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 340 gr Light brown sugar
  • 75 gr cocoapowder
  • 140 gr Flour
  • Pinch of Salt
  • M&Ms
  • Chocolate Chips

Turn on the oven to 175C. Melt the butter on low heat, set it aside and let it cool down. In a bowl, beat the eggs and the sugar until creamy and light brown. Add the vanilla and then dry ingredients, plus half of the M&Ms and chocolate chips. Make sure the flour and cocoa are sifted.

Pour the mixture into a greased oven dish and sprinkle the rest of the M&Ms and chocolate chips on the top. Put in the oven and bake around 25-30 min. Make sure that the middle of the brownie is still moist by the time you take your brownies out of the oven.

After taking them out, let the brownies cool down and then serve them with whipped cream or some vanilla ice-cream.
